Please read my terms and conditions carefully as payment of a non refundable booking fee means acceptance of these terms and conditions. Numbered 1-27
Booking
1.Please fill out the bridal contract form and send it back to myself after you have read all of the terms and conditions as by sending back the contract it means that you agree with them.
2.The wedding day deposit is due at the time of booking which is £60. This is a non-refundable booking fee in the event of part or complete cancellation. This will be deducted from your final wedding cost.
3.Cash or bank transfer payment only must be paid 1 week before the wedding date. However, if you prefer to pay earlier we can discuss this further. I do not accept cheques, Paypal, credit/debit card and other forms of payments.
4.The minimum cost for a booking is bride and up to 3 others which is stated in the price list sent. If there is only a party of the bride and two others the minimum fee will still need to be paid. Additional fees for extra people to be added on which is stated in the price list document.
Trial/Preview
5. Please ensure prior to any hair appointments that you wash your hair either the night before or day of appointment, I cannot style on dirty, unwashed hair and will be asked to re-arrange the appointment (trial/preview) which will be an extra cost to rebook.
6. Every effort is made during the consultation process, and trial, to agree on an overall style and ensure that there are no reactions to any of the products used by the technician. Therefore the technician accepts no liability for any reactions caused to the client. As every effort is made during the consultation process to agree on a style for the wedding day then the technician accepts no liability for the outcome of any style changes made on the-wedding day or condition of the hair caused by products used by the client previous to the technician style the hair on the wedding day.
7. Trials are to be paid on the day of appointment by Cash or Bank transfer.
8. Trials need to be booked 4-8 weeks in advance. Anything less will compromise what days and times I can give you, These can be booked through the week at 9am or Friday/Saturdays 9/10/11/12pm subject to availability.
9. Trials are held at my home address: Turriff, Aberdeenshire AB53 8BS. I ask you to come to the trial appointment with no more than one other adult due to the lack of space in my studio. Please allow a max of 2 hours per person for your bridal preview appointment. For a bigger party for trials this will be discussed to arrange at your home address and an extra cost for travel will be added.
10. Trial/preview appointments are only made if there is a non refundable booking fee made for securing the wedding date.
Cancelling
11. If you need to cancel the wedding less than 6 weeks before 50% of the wedding balance must still be paid. If you need to cancel the wedding less than 3 weeks before 75% of the wedding price must still be paid. If you need to cancel less than 1 week the full amount will still need to be paid. The final balance is required to be paid 4 weeks before the wedding, any late payments may result in extra costs.
12. If for any reason you decide not to go ahead with the technician for the wedding date, the trial is still required to be paid for in full and the payment for securing your date will not be refunded.
13. In the unlikely event that the technician has to cancel, a full refund will be given and an alternative technician will be sourced.
14. In the event that you need to cancel your wedding the booking fee to secure the date will not be refunded. If you have had your trial this also will not be refunded, as the service has already been provided.
14.The technician has the right to refuse/cancel a booking if payment is not clear in the bank; the correct information is not given by the client at the time of booking; contact cannot be made and deposits not been paid.
15.If your wedding date has to be cancelled/postponed due to covid restrictions or any other pandemics, there will not be a refund for the booking fee as the booking fee is non refundable as stated in number 9. To change your wedding date a new booking fee will have to be made which is a £60 non refundable booking fee.
Hair Extensions
16. Hair extensions are offered/recommended but need a couple of appointments before the trial appointment. These can include human hair clip ins which are ideal for just wanting thicker hair for on the day or longer lasting curls. Or human hair extensions which can be fitted by myself which can be discussed at a hair extension consultation regarding if possible and what type of method (weave, nano rings, tapes or stick tips) This is ideal for longer term or wants the sides of the face filled out. If the client has their own hair extensions, they will need to bring them at trial appointment.
Travel Costs and travel charges
17. Travel cost is for the mileage and time (50p per mile from home address). If you wish to come to my home address, please let me know. Anything after one hours drive from my home address is subject to a surcharge.
18. Any parking charges must be paid for by the client at the location of the wedding party getting ready at.
19 .Over a 2 hour drive from home address or extremely early start time of 6am or earlier, accommodation is required. Which must be covered by the client.
20. For International destinations, travel, transfers, accommodation and insurance must be paid for.
Unwell/illness
21. If you or any other member of your household has been unwell with anything that is contagious such as flu or sickness and diarrhoea, please inform me PRIOR to the appointment. I have the right to refuse treatment and should the appointment not be able to be rebooked the full treatment price will still need to be paid.
Other information
22. Prices are subject to change. If you have been given a quote and your non refundable booking fee has been made, then should prices change, your quote will not be affected. If you have been given a quote and have NOT paid the non-refundable booking fee to secure the date, should the prices change, your quote will be honoured for 2 days, after that the original quote will be void and you will be charged at the new prices.
23. Please note my prices are very reasonable for the quality of my work and the range of products in my kit. Prices also include time for travel, unsociable hours, client management, administration and paperwork. Please do not try to barter on price.
24. If there has been no booking fee that has been paid then the quote can be changed for that booking.
25. The technician’s kit is fully sanitized before and after each physical outing. The technician’s home studio is also deep cleaned after each working day and sanitized between each client visiting her home. All brushes and equipment are fully cleaned and sprayed with 70% isopropyl alcohol.
26. Adequate space, lighting and heating is required. I will require a flat surface or table to set out my products and a low chair. For health and safety reasons children and pets remain the responsibility of the client, if any products or equipment are damaged by a child or pet the client must be prepared to replace such items.
27. Information collected from you will be stored safely and is used purely to carry out your instructions and action your payments. There are no circumstances under which this information might be passed to a third party. All Records destroyed after the wedding date.
