When should I book my trial/preview appointment?

Once you have paid your non refundable booking we can then book in your trial/preview appointment!

I recommend 4-8 weeks before your wedding date (This is when your hair is at a similar length and colour for your wedding). I prioritise these appointments for my brides Mon-Thur @ 9am and Fri - Sat @ 9-12pm. If you are getting married in the months from May - September, availability for a Friday and Saturdays are limited. If you can only manage these days then this needs to be booked at the beginning of the year Feb-April of the year of your wedding.

How long does it take in the morning to have everyone’s hair styled?

Depends on everyone’s hair type/texture/length and style of choice. Roughly for simple styles like your half ups, textured updos/ponytails (Not including hollywood waves, adding clip in extensions) Brides are booked in for an hour and the rest of the bridal party 45 minutes each. I go into much more detail of timings at your preview/trial appointment, I also then send across a timeline for everyone to be seated in the chair ready to feel beautiful!

I have shoulder length hair, can you style it up into an updo?

Yes of course, I would suggest looking into a textured effortless mid/low bun style. I would recommend ordering clips in extensions if you want a fuller look. Please email me regarding what clip-ins you should order.

I have never worn clip in extensions before, should I wear them for my wedding day?

It is totally up to you, I personally love them! As they help the longevity of your hairstyle, a more fuller/longer look, help with adding a different colours/depth. I recommend getting these from www.milkandblush.com. If you are interested in going for a down style for example Hollywood waves then would highly encourage clip in extensions. I only have one Bridesmaid, my mum and myself (Bride) can I still book in with you?

Of course, I would love to help out for your special morning! I do have a minimum spend of £465 which is to cover Bride and 3 others but as long as the full payment is paid you can have less numbers. If its just bride only for styling, please get in touch to get a separate quote.

How far do you travel?

I am based in Turriff, Aberdeenshire in Scotland but I am more than willing to travel as long as the travel and stay over the night before is paid for, I am more than happy to see more of the world!
